The Jockey Club president Alan Marzelli will retire at the end of the year, and his successor will be current vice president James Gagliano. The announcement was made Friday by The Jockey Club chairman Ogden Mills Phipps. Marzelli joined the Jockey Club in 1983, and was appointed president and COO in 2003; Gagliano has been with the organization for four years.
