Muscle Hill beat Southern Rocketop by a length to win the World Trotting Derby Saturday night at the DuQuoin State Fair. Muscle Hill, driven by Luke McCarthy, finished in 1:52.3. McCarthy was filling in for regular driver Brian Sears, one of five drivers who left to participate in scheduled major races at Campbelville, Ontario, when rain delayed the World Trotting Derby six hours.
