PG: Beno Udrih (4 years/27.6 million left in his contract)
The mid-level exception was on of the most abused constructs in the decade. Now, Udrih isn’t the worst offender ever. But 5 years and 33.2 million dollars when a mans peak is so mediocre? He may not be an albatross yet? But it’s coming.
SG: Marko Jaric (2 years/14.7 million left in his contract)
He’s now all up in Memphis’ bench with�good three point shooting, Adriana Lima, and little else.
SF: Peja Stojakovic (2 years/29.5 million left in his contract)
Yeah, when healthy, there are still very few gunners of his style and accuracy. But he’s at a point in his career where he’s gone around the bend of health. Thus he lives here now. Albatrosstown.
PF: Anderson Varejao (6 years/48.3 million dollars left in the contract)
The worst contract in the NBA. You’re the Cavaliers. You have a guy who can’t defend anyone with range. You have a guy with no offensive game. And you have a guy with an inflated self-opinion? He’s a free agent going into the season?
Of course you give him a new contract!
C: Eddy Curry (2 years/21.7 million dollars left in the contact)
Now center? On the whole you can lock it down that unless you have a superstar? Contract two is going to be a bad one. And while I would like to call out Dan Gadzuric? At least they aren’t paying him to stay home. There’s that.
