You will see monster dunks and buzzer beaters spring forth from the now and who’s next. Enter Illinois. A team on the bubble. A team that needs every win it can get.
And Demitri McCamey decides that he’s going to throw a dagger into Indiana’s gut.
Illinois has two games versus Wisconsin and Ohio State, and a remaining game with Purdue and Michigan State. They’re 14-8 and 6-3 in conference as my fingers are hitting the keyboard. Their margin for the bubble is razor thin.
This may have just saved their season.
