BOSTON -- Enough already. Can we dispense with the formalities and get to Boston-LA?
Orlando has unofficially conceded to Boston. Unless the Lakers boycott Arizona, the Suns don't have a chance. Let's just fast-forward to a series that people want to watch.
There's certainly nothing left to see here, other than whether Paul Pierce will confess that he hacked into his own Twitter account and taunted the Magic. His alleged broom comment after Game 2 was supposed to ignite Orlando.
The Magic responded Saturday with one of the lamest playoff performances in NBA history. You'd have to go all the way back to, well, the Cavaliers two weeks ago to find a similar display of invertebrateness.
We left that series wondering how LeBron James could look so bad. The answers ranged from a bad elbow to a bad teammate. I suppose a rumor-mongering blogger will soon put out that Delonte West has been sleeping with the mothers of every Orlando player.
