DEACON JONES, All dressed up and nowhere to go “Bloopers & Practical Jokes” Video. Deacon Jones is one of the most feared NFL players of all times, playing most of his career with the Rams. His nickname was the “Secretary of Defense”.
Circa 1984 he was tricked by Bubba Smith, The big guy from Police Academy, and fellow NFL defensive player. Bubba had Deacon dropped off at a supposed costume party for charity, and then he left him high and dry.
Imagine the former NFL players watching TV this night back in the early 80′s. Deacon Jones, the “Secretary of Defense”, is in a tutu.
