The San Francisco Giants have activated shortstop Edgar Renteria from the disabled list before Wednesday’s game against the Baltimore Orioles. Renteria has been out since May 25 because of a right groin strain. It was his second trip to the disabled list this season. The 34-year-old veteran is hitting .326 with one home run and 11 RBIs in 23 games.
