As Amar'e Stoudemire shared with the New York media late Saturday night, the free-agent forward has quite the master plan in mind for his possible Knicks tenure. He claims San Antonio point guard Tony Parker and Denver small forward Carmelo Anthony are ready to join him in the Big Apple, although his grand vision would be quite the logistical challenge for New York president Donnie Walsh when it actually comes time to pull off a trade for the two marquee players.
But two sources who spoke with FanHouse and have knowledge of Stoudemire's plans, said he is scheduled to talk to more teams than the Knicks. A second visit with New York is scheduled for Monday, with a visit to New Jersey on Tuesday to be followed by a trip to Chicago to talk with the Bulls.
Of course the plans can always be called off, so the tone and outcome of the Monday meeting will ultimately determine if his itinerary holds up.
