Brandon Roy Apologizes for Appearance in Rap Video

Brandon Roy made a brief appearance in a rap music video, but felt the need to apologize once the video hit the internet and there were some things in it that he decided he didn't necessarily want to be associated with.



The video can be viewed on YouTube here, and by most standards -- in terms of people issuing apologies, at least -- this one is relatively tame. It's a positive that Roy is sensitive to how he (and to a larger extent, the league) is portrayed in these situations, but honestly, this is pretty benign in the world of athletes appearing in music videos.
