The Milwaukee Brewers have released right-handed relief pitcher David Riske, who has struggled since returning from last season’s elbow surgery. Riske signed a three-year, $13 million contract before the 2008 season but has been limited to 69 games in three seasons because of injuries. He pitched only one game last season before undergoing Tommy John elbow surgery.
