Denver Nuggets forward Kenyon Martin was not laughing on April Fool's Day.During the Nuggets' much-needed 109-92 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday, former Nuggets ball boy Laquan Johnson -- who is now a driver for Denver guard J.R. Smith -- decided to play a practical joke on Martin, who apparently wasn't in the mood for the first day of April's custom.
ESPN.com reported Friday that Johnson reportedly gained access to the club's locker room and swiped Martin's keys, allowing him to fill the athletic forward's Range Rover with buttered popcorn. The car's interior is white, causing Martin's face to turn bright red.
Martin, unaware of who had pulled the prank, stormed back into Denver's locker room, the report said, and flew into a profanity-filled tirade directed at teammates and other team officials who were present.
"That ain't no [expletive] joke," Martin said, according to ESPN.com. "I'm going to find out who did it ... put my [expletive] hands on one of y'all. I'm going to put my hands on whoever did it. You better believe that. It's [expletive] personal. You better believe it."
