Nuggets' Martin May Return Saturday

DENVER -- Kenyon Martin sure is tired of sitting and watching. He might put an end to that Saturday.



The Denver forward said before Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers at the Pepsi Center he could return for the home game against San Antonio after missing the past 18 games due to left knee tendinitis. Martin underwent platelet-rich plasma therapy a month ago.



"(I'm) trying to get back for these last three games,'' said Martin, whose Nuggets close the season Monday at home against Memphis and Tuesday at Phoenix. "Been working out. Been getting better every day. Trying to make it back for these next few days. If not, the 17th or 18th [of April, when the playoffs start]. I'll have that uniform on. But I'm trying to get back before then.''
