Marqus Blakely Selected by Bakersfield Jam in NBA D-League Draft

The Bakersfield Jam may have found a new logo in this year's NBA Development League draft as their first-round pick, Marqus Blakely, was known to be one of the best players in college basketball last season when it came to jamming the basketball through the hoop.



Blakely, a 6-foot-5 small forward out of Vermont, was the last cut of the Los Angeles Clippers this preseason and had been in the discussion to go as high as third overall in Monday night's NBA D-League draft due to his blend of upside and athleticism, so the Jam have to be happy that he fell all the way to the 12th overall pick.
