Last week, Scottie Reynolds was about as far out of the NBA atmosphere as one can be in October, playing for Prima Veroli in Italy's second division. Now he might be the closest, as the Oklahoma City Thunder-owned Tulsa 66ers selected him with the 13th overall pick in Monday night's NBA Development League draft.Reynolds, a 6-foot-2 All-American for Villanova last season, recently returned stateside due to what a team press release described as "homesickness." While Tulsa, Okla., probably doesn't have many similarities to Villanova, Pa., he should feel right at home playing in front of NBA scouts every night in what some consider the best basketball league outside of the NBA.
